The agreement was signed at Dar al-Muhandisin “Engineers House” in Damascus during a visit of a delegation from the Jordanian Engineers Association, chaired by Chairman of the Association Ahmed Samara al-Zoubi, to the Syrian Engineers Syndicate to discuss mechanism of cooperation in the next stage.

The agreement covers a number of points, the most prominent of which is the work on enhancing engineering, scientific, technical and professional relations between the two sides through strengthening the engineering cooperation in general and the consultative cooperation in particular, in addition to benefiting from the available opportunities.

The agreement also stipulates for providing all possible support by the bodies concerned and working on facilitating the mission of the two sides in all possible ways.

Chairman of Engineers Syndicate Dr. Ghiath Qutni affirmed the importance of developing relations and exchanging experiences to benefit from that in the reconstruction process which Syria will witness in the next stage.

For his part, Samara shed light on the deep-rooted relations binding the two peoples in general and the two syndicates in particular, expressing readiness to cooperate in a way that would serve the interests of the two brotherly countries.
